Matthew Martino’s charitable brainchild MMBF is one to watch in terms of boosting our future generations within the arts industry and aviation alike. The privately funded charity will be providing sponsorships and grants worldwide to actors, filmmakers and aspiring pilots.

The MMBF (Matthew Martino Benevolent Fund) is a UK based charity that supports aspiring pilots worldwide through grants towards PPL,CPL and other pilot training courses and also supports filmmakers worldwide through training grants and bursaries, funding for first time filmmakers under 21 and provides sponsorship for film related events such as film festivals and film award ceremonies.

The main reason why we think The MMBF will bring a great impact is the fact that they are privately funded, there is no political influence or any red tape to adhere, the Trustees of the Nottingham headquartered Trust will hold full control of who to award and what projects to sponsor which in essence does mean every applicant stands a good chance.

Despite the reports claiming The Matthew Martino Benevolent Fund could become a political powerhouse ahead of next years UK General Elections and founder Matthew C. Martino’s past rumoured involvement in politics this has been addresses as a spokesperson for The MMBF confirmed that Martino wouldn’t hold an official role in the firm.
