Sources close to Hollywood screenwriter turned author Mylo Carbia have released the first draft cover and title of her upcoming book, “The Raping of Ava DeSantis.” Although the storyline is still under wraps, sources exclusive to us say that the book is set in Atlanta – Buckhead, Little Five Points and Midtown to be exact. Carbia is a graduate of Mercer University and spent more than 7 years in our beloved city which may be the reason for setting her debut novel here.

Given the early buzz from horror fans across the globe (including Mylo’s 65,000 followers on Twitter) the release date is rumored to be right around Halloween.

Mylo Carbia has penned several independent horror films but is best known as Hollywood’s number one horror film ghostwriter. In fact, several people in Hollywood have nicknamed her “The Next Stephen King,” so we definitely think this will be an instant horror classic and we’re certainly looking forward to seeing her first book in a series of five horror novels all featuring strong female protagonists.

Stay tuned for more details coming out this summer!
